When the day turns gray, give one of these a read.
There goes my resolution to Not Spend Money on More Books....
*Adds to my reading list*
The Road is definitely a read that sticks with you. I didn’t think it would, but for some reason that book always pops back up in my mind. I’ll have to check out your other suggestions. Thanks!
Thank you for this list - definitely adding ‘The Plague’ to mine now :)
Loved The Name of the Rose 🌹. The film is also commendable, with plenty of rain and dirt!
I'm at a library right now and I'm going to pick up Lincoln in the Bardo because of this list. Thanks, I'm looking forward to it!
I love Eco. Foucault’s pendulum is my fave by him.
this is perfect timing. it's been rainy the past two days and i was in the mood for a good book
The Name of the Rose! Brilliance! I will definitely look into the rest.
Your articles are just comforting no matter the context. Thank you. 😊
George Saunders’ very first collection *CivilWarLand* is his best. The Lincoln novel doesn’t hold up to his earlier stories.
There on your floor with your bow, you may also like my collection *Idiocy, Ltd.* But I’m meagre stuff next to Saunders.
That's how the road feels 100%
